I do not drive a car as I do not own one. I don’t even have a license, come to think of it.
I may well be one of the only 21 year olds in existence that didn’t strive for one with all her might, nor does the lack bother me greatly. On days like today, when the sun is shining, and the air is light and warm, I enjoy riding my bicycle. I know that I would probably ride it even if I did have a drivers’ license.
There are a lot of things like this, just humming along. Being content with what you have. I think that’s what real happiness is: finding the joy in the moments that exist between the breaths you take. Enjoying the pauses and the movement from one event to another.
